Updating Your Pricing

An introduction and overview guide to updating your holiday property pricing. Detailed guidelines and examples are provided in dedicated articles relating to your Seasons, your Rates and your Booking Rules.

Within the OWcal / Bookings Section on your Dashboard that makes up your Holiday Home’s Booking System there are 18 (at the present count) menu options alone.

However, to update your pricing you only need to concern yourself with 2 or 3 of them. We have put together some guidance to help you get to grips with understanding how your pricing works and how you can update it with confidence. Below is a 3 point step guide to setting up your pricing namely:

  • OWcal > Seasons : Your different Price Bands and the dates that these bands apply to.
  • OWcal > Rates : Your nightly rates / weekly rates / short break rates and the Seasons that these apply to
  • Owcal > Booking Rules :Your Minimum Stay Rules and specified Check-In/Out Days

Review Your Seasons

Go To: OWcal > Seasons Here you will see your current Seasons. You could add new Seasons for next year (recommended if you plan on changing your pricing) Or you may wish to simply edit each existing Season, adding next year's dates below the current year's dates

Review Your Rates

Go To: OWcal > Rates If you have added a new Season you will either need to add a new rate for it, or allocate the new Season to an existing rate.

Review Rules

Go To: OWcal > Booking Rules If you have added a new Season you may need to allocate the new Season to an existing booking rule (eg: minimum stay)
