How Long Does it Take To Build My Website?
Typically it takes us 2 weeks from receipt of your photos and text to present you with your first draft. We'd then recommend allowing an additional 1-2 weeks for any feedback and changes to be made before we make your website live.
Can I make changes to the website myself?
Of course, and it is easy to do. Or if you prefer, you can ask us and we can do this for a small fee reflective of how much time is required.

Are there any hidden extras?
Nope. Unlike most hosting service providers we don't offer different scales of service that require your website to upgrade as it gets busier. Our Self-Managed Hosting service provides everything you need to manage your website yourself. Our Fully Managed Service offers even better value, keeping it protected from malware, updated with new software releases and includes regular cloud storage backups of your website.
Do You Have A Discount Code
When we claim that our hosting prices are already extremely competitive, we are being very polite to our competitors. Our Self Managed Hosting service for example is half the price of some comparable services for example – and don't forget our service includes all the technical configuration required to connect your domain SSL certificate and emails to your hosting service!
Am I able to move my website to another hosting provider
We don't get asked this a lot, but yes. You are not tied into our platform and at any time have the ability to backup your website and install it on another WordPress hosting service elsewhere
Do I have full access to my website then?
Yes, all our customers are provided with full Administrator access to their website.
Is the domain registered in my name?
By default no, but we can register it in your name at no additional cost at the time we first register your domain. We register domain names in our name to protect our customers from spam and fraudulent renewal notices which keeps our support services to a minimum. If you would like to us to transfer your domain name to you or a third party after it has been first-registered we can do this for you, but the domain registry may charge a nominal fee (£10-£20)
Do you charge if I wanted to transfer my domain to another provider
A fair question – it is common practice after all but Owners Websites don't charge for this service. Simply instigate the domain transfer from your new hosting service and we will promptly authorise the transfer request to your new domain host when their instruction has been received.
